ADA Location de véhicules
Located a few steps from the hotel La Thalie, ADA is a car and van rental agency, open every day of the week except Sunday. It is now possible to rent a bike, a motorcycle or a scooter thanks to Holiday Bikes, a sign of the group ADA.
Élan is a French professional basketball club belonging to the elite of the French championship. It is based in the town of Chalon-sur-Saône. The club currently operates in the Coliseum, a room with a capacity of 4,948 seats. Located a dozen minutes from the hotel La Thalie, why would not you encourage our champions of the Elan Chalon?
Centre nautique du Grand Chalon
Located at about ten minutes from the hotel La Thalie, the nautical center of the Grand Chalon is a place of relaxation and recreation of the Grands Chalonnais. A wide range of activities are available to you: Ponds of several meters long, a wave pool, a pentaglisse (slide). The swimmers also offer swimming lessons, as well as aqua gym, aquastretching, aquabuilding, aquabody, aquafitness and aquaboxing. Cardio-training activities are supervised by a sports instructor from Grand Chalon.
Located at about ten minutes from the hotel La Thalie, Nicéphore Cité is the pole images and sounds of scale of Chalon-sur-Saône, capital of the image. It is also, for all professionals, an unavoidable place for the organization of major events thanks to its broadcasting rooms, its high-tech computer, photographic and cinematographic equipment.
L'Aérodrome de Champforgeuil
The Aéroclub du Grand Chalon (section of the Association of Amateurs of Aircraft), based on the terrain of Champforgeuil, welcomes pilots and aviation enthusiasts of Chalon sur Saône and the whole region of Chalon. With 4 pilot instructors, 2 aircraft and a microlight, it gives all those who wish to practice recreational aviation or to discover the pleasures of piloting, and to follow training courses for the ULM, the Brevet Basic and PPL in a pleasant, relaxed, and reasonably priced environment.

L’Aéroclub du Grand Chalon (section de l’Association des Amateurs d’Aéronefs), basé sur le terrain de Champforgeuil, accueille pilotes et passionnés de l’aviation de Chalon sur Saône et de toute la région chalonnaise. En disposant de 4 instructeurs pilotes, 2 avions et un ULM, il donne la possibilité à tous ceux qui le souhaitent de pratiquer l’aviation de loisir ou de découvrir les plaisirs du pilotage, et de suivre des formations pour le Brevet ULM, le Brevet de Base et le PPL dans une ambiance agréable, décontractée, et à un prix raisonnable.

L'Espace des arts
The association pavillonnaise CECAS-Espace des Arts is dedicated to the cultural diffusion through the performing, cinematographic and plastic arts. The Philippe Noiret room in the Espace des Arts has a maximum capacity of 850 seats and hosts professional shows of music, theater, humor ... Singular art in all its forms is defended and programmed. Paintings, sculptures, photographs, installations, performances will pass before your eyes during the artistic season. La Cave des Vignerons de Buxy
The Cave des Vignerons de Buxy was born out of the will of the vine growers of the Côte Chalonnaise to unite around a common project: vinify, raise and market their wines together. An epic that began more than 80 years ago. Possibility of wine tasting on site.

The rally of Burgundy Côte Chalonnaise 2015 takes place around Chalon-sur-Saône.
This rally is organized by the ASA 71. The NPEA rally of Burgundy / Côte Chalonnaise represents a 406.970 km course. It is divided into 2 steps and 4 sections. It comprises 12 special stages with a total length of 163.980 km.

Route touristique des Grands Vins
The Great Wine Route: five itineraries to live the wines of Burgundy.
- The tourist route of the vineyards of the Yonne: This enchanting route takes you to the heart of the wine regions of Chablis and Grand Auxerrois. There, the winegrowers will welcome you with pleasure, to make you taste their wines. Between two tastings, you can escape between vineyards and forest trails.
- La Route du Crémant: Come taste this finely effervescent, white or rosé wine, the local cellars open their doors to you. Take the opportunity to walk the forest of Châtillonnais, on foot or by mountain bike, before discovering the historical heritage of the region. You can admire churches, abbeys and castles, but also the fabulous treasure of Vix (500 BC), uncovered by archaeologists.
- Route des Grands Crus: At the exit of Dijon, take the Route des Grands Crus, an exceptional itinerary that leads you to meet the most prestigious Burgundy wines. First, you will visit the Côte de Nuits, its famous terroirs and its famous villages, such as Gevrey-Chambertin, Vosne-Romanée or Nuits-Saint-Georges. Nicknamed "the Champs-Elysées of Burgundy", this region does not exceed, in some places, 300 meters in width. It nevertheless brings together a multitude of internationally known appellations: Chambertin, Clos de Vougeot, Route of Grands Crus brings you on the Côte de Beaune. Stop in the cellars to delight in a Meursault, an Aloxe-Corton or a Chassagne-Montrachet ...
Escape then on the Véloroute, between Beaune and Santenay. For cyclists, this marked trail offers stunning views of the vineyards. It also crosses vineyard villages like Pommard, Volnay and many others.
- Route des Grands Vins: The local winegrowers offer fleshy and fruity red wines, such as those of Rully and Mercurey, and fine white wines.
To explore the region, go down the "Voie Verte" along the Canal du Center: this is a great opportunity to stroll by bike! When you arrive in Chalon, you can visit the exciting Nicéphore Niépce museum, dedicated to the inventor of photography, before making a detour by the Maison des vins de la Côte Chalonnaise.
- The Mâconnais-Beaujolais Wine Route: Here you are in the South of Burgundy ... To finish your pleasant journey, take the Mâconnais-Beaujolais Wine Route. On the way, you will taste in the cellars a rich palette of wines, such as those of Mâcon and Viré-Clessé, lively and fresh, or the great white wines of Pouilly-Fuissé and Saint-Véran. This route full of poetry also takes you to Romanesque churches, castles and other fabulous sites, such as the Roche de Solutré and the Abbey of Cluny, a little further west.
